Our adventure truly began September 8th, 2012; the day we got married! Within three months of marriage, God gave us the opportunity to open our own business, Krush Nutrition. That business grew and expanded in a miraculous way, allowing for the purchases of one of the most iconic buildings in downtown Jacksonville, the Times Theater. The combination was a huge success, creating what is now known as Krush Time. An indoor recreation center with rock walls, trampolines, and obstacle courses. But it became so much more than just a place of business, it was the beginning of our ministry. Little did we know, the building was just the beginning. Soon the opportunity to appear on television shows began to open up for Josh, the Lord laid on his heart several books to write, and he began coaching multiple sports at the junior high level. McKea was unexpectedly offered a teaching position at the same school in which Josh coaches. Shortly thereafter, she began coaching multiple sports, including being named head high school girls basketball coach, and starting a Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter! While we no longer run Krush Time from day to day, the building stands as a testimony to what God can do if you’re willing to follow his guidance, and we are confident He has a use for the building in the future. With the diversity of people and many locations of our ministry, we still wanted to have a central place where people could “find” us; thus 'Inside the Gate’ was formed. There is no doubt that our story is just beginning, and look forward to the unique opportunities the Lord continues to give us to minister to people of all ages.
